Nueva Andalucía is a residential area situated just above Puerto Banús. It’s the largest neighbourhood in Marbella, so it’s hardly surprising that it offers an extensive range of different properties. For those who want to get back to nature, El Lago de Tortugas (Turtle Lake) can be found at the top of Nueva Andalucía and offers a scenic destination for a picnic under its shady eucalyptus trees. The lake, which is named after the turtles that live there, is a hidden gem and a perfect spot if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the beach.
Of course, Nueva Andalucía is known around the world as a go-to destination for golfers. The course offering includes Aloha, Las Brisas, Los Naranjos and La Quinta Golf, which is a fourth course comprising 27 holes, offering a choice of layouts to combine. Golf fanatics tend to be prevalent in the area from October to May, meaning that even out of the summer months there’s always some friendly hustle and bustle to the area.
For those who would rather spend time off the green, the area also offers a range of other outdoor activities such as Lawn Bowls (available in Aloha) and tennis courts which can be found throughout Nueva Andalucía.
